so havent posted in awhile... in a nut shell
Survived the end of the year, got my position renewed (yeah!)had to lodge a complaing on my supervisor (nerve wracking) to have him transferred from the school. I worked with ninja girl 60 horus a week through the summer, which brought money in, which we promptly had to spend on repairs to the car that david got into an accident with. I am back at the schools and starting to get things up to speed.
Cupstacking is happening again which is helpful and gives me something to do. I was the sorting hat again for the school and may be going to spend the night on the roof if the kids raise enough money
Saw the illusionist with David its a good movie.

Busy Busy life

So I have had a very interesting life for the last month or so. April 26-27th was the Edmonton trip where I a TA and the VP of the school along with some parents escorted 35 kids to edmonton to perform 15 minutes for the CASS convention. Then there were the practices leading up to it. Then there was the Amazing Race which went ok despite cold temps we still managed to pull it off. Thank goodness for parents!
Then on the 9 was the school play, and my cupstacking tournament, and the 10 was the play again. The 12th was the convention I was being sent to, the 13 Sarah's bridal shower and Kims birthday. The 14th was Moms day, and on the 15th I find out that I have been screwed by a parent of a client to the tune of about 120 dollars. Yeah fun.
The 17th and 18th were the outdoor ed camp which I was planning camp fire lovely weather and I have a sun burn and my scalp is burned.
Next week looks quiet, but on June 13th I have a demonstration for the board on cup stacking holy shit. And I have Rathwell's wedding.
Yes I missed MA birthday so shoot me I have been just a wee bit busy.

And to top it all off David and I have to decide whether we want to pursue custody of his neices. I cant ethically leave a child in a situation like what they are in, but damn what choices do I have? Their are reasons why David and his family are messed up and this is perpetuating some cycles which I want to stop. If I give up England I gain two daughters...

Since everyone hasnt said anything about the wedding yet, or else they friends only it so I cant see it.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW MRS. CORAL DURKIN
The wedding was great, little bit of drama in the getting there, and I had to go through 3 checkstops without my drivers liscence driving her step sister home, did the handfasting, and then ran away to the mountains for two days. Everything was shut down in waterton, but hey getting to do nothing was extremely nice. Once pictures are done I will post.
Bad side about being in the mountains is my ears do not change from low to high pressure very well, or whatever it is when you come down from altitude, they literally take hours to pop, and in the meantime I am near deaf and in huge amounts of pain. If I am hiking it isnt so bad as the altitude change is slower, if I run it hurts, if I walk its ok, If I am in a car being driven at 110km they cant catch up.

I am trying not to think about work stuff as I have until Monday off

So I have a group of girls at one school who are way to young to be even thinking about dieting, and at least 15, out of a suspected 45 have confirmed eating disorders.... wtf is wrong with this world? So I get to present the evils of media on self esteem to a group of kids desperately trying to fit in.... beating head against brick wall sometimes, but I am giving them the information and hopefully doing an innoculation on what happens when you binge and purge.

Good news is I have a car, a Saturn SC2 2002 with only 55, 000 km on it. Which means the trail excursion is going to be a lot smoother and with a lot more room! And we will have a CD player!

I'm hoping things will work out with me and David. Things have been crazy this month, with the Christmas bust that happenned, the ensuing fight and counselling... I've had it pointed out to me that January is a shitty month for me, theres trauma historically, fights, lots of bad memories, and this year isnt any different. Between the fight with David, the medical complications, the fight with stupid supervisor who has a napeoleonic complex. I get yelled at for wearing an inch heels!!! and having to decide about which is the lesser of two evils, an iron shot, or not being able to switch my immunoboosters....

Lucky's caretaker has come out of the woodwork again, which leads to the ensuing comments about me stealing lucky back. Lucky is a stuffed animal whose caretaker is one of the former presidents of JAMS, and it is getting me out of the house more and helping to fight the seasonal affective stuff. Atlantis is also cool, I'm so glad that Colnel died in the pilot, and wish MacKay would be less neurotic, Canadians arent neurotic.....really we arent.

And am slightly happy that we have a conservative minority government, it sucks that the NDP dont hold balance of power, but we can hope. I'm suspecting we are back at the polls in a year but we will see what happens.

So thats all that is new in Ally Land...

I have the song from Lexx stuck in my head, they did another musical which I have seen once and got stuck in my head.

Mark came over and we started to watch Atlantis.... yeah for guys with big movie collections! Really cool pilot episode. Then had to stop so I could watch my videos for my health class I teach tomorrow. Thank goodness they arent corny and out of date. I hated that in school! Nothing worse then reliving 80s fashions, or worse 70 morals.

School is interesting the kids have settled down and I am back to work. How the heck can a kid have his locker chock full of papers when on the last day his locker was empty? I was never that bad!

I found some neat things on freecycle and am trying to freecycle somethings back out of the house. look at freecycle@yahoogroups.com if you want to know what I am talking about. If anyone wants an ugly couch then they are welcome to it.

I get to fight with the government soon, yeah for me, as they have messed up the two allisons again.

And Jen has broken off with aaron, and is going through a nasty bit of the breakup, borderline personalities are fun. I do a lot of uh huh and psychoanalysis for his actions.

Ok I had my two worst nightmare situations today, had a Grade 5 girl in tears cause gasp someone told her there is no santaclaus... and because I have been her counsellor she looks to me to validate it. What the hell do you do? I did the yes I believe in Santa Claus and showed her the history of Father Christmas, then phoned the parents and let them know that I was fobbing the ball back into their court.
Second I am walking out with my respite client who may become permanent at the rates things are going, and he turns to me and says he saw someone having sex last night. WTH do you do now?

whats happenned since last time I posted,
Cyn had her birthday Happy birthday belated I am sorry,
I finally caught up with Routley, take care kiddo, you wont tell me what you are doing so watch your back... even utena sama gets stabbed in the back by a friend
My hand is mostly healed, though it twisted funny on me and hurts like hell. I have a bump on the outside of my hand where we can feel the bones, and my little finger still scissors in. Oh well..
The SAD lamp is helping so much it isnt even funny, David can tell when I have had it and when I havent.
I managed to eat something I was allergic to yesterday as I could feel my throat closing up on me last night, thankgoodness for antihistamines and ventolin. I wish I could be sleeping more though as I wake up everytime my husband turns over, or talks in his sleep. (We can have some very interesting conversations)
What else has happenned?
Oh my Winter Carnival went well, even with the meddling of my vp, the kids enjoyed it and I have the best pictures. Thanks and hugs to Coral for music, the kids enjoyed the cool music.

Yes I left yesterday from DnD but when you arent prepared and feeling crappy I couldnt put myself in a position to be drained even further. I also noticed the ever so convienent set up of either sitting next to him or on aaron, which would put David and Veronica in a snit even if it was an option with me being sick and autistic as hell. Then the knowledge that the character would clash with mine was something I so did not need to hear, bad enough to be fighting monsters but your own party as well... I dont think so.

Either people missed the main reason for moving out of ADD house was that I wanted to stop the emotional abuse, and the constant lack of respect. It was bad enough the little hissy fits, the stupid Playstation addiction, the fact my room was trashed and valuables broken, the way he got mad when we moved him cause he wasnt here. It was not our fault he didnt pre pack before he left, or that he shorted Marie on the rent. Even the other stuff could be looked over as in his fit of not being controlled, but the underhanded dealings with the wall for his room was not appropriate for a man one year my senior.

No i dont have a problem with him being there, but I reserve the right to make as dignified an exit as i can in the circumstances if I perceive him to be out of line, and he has the same right. Though I am likely to get tossed first, considering being the outsider of the circle.

Another blessing is that the boot issue should be at a close soon. If after 6 months we havent missed something you might want to consider how important it is to you guys, I get my rollerblades back, and then I think other then my missing pot I should be fine. Why Isaac did you think it your right to give it back to Marie as a suprise rather then letting us both stew longer? Yes your goddess is Chaos, but there is such a thing as ethics, and unless Marie gets hornier if angry then I dont see the point. It wasnt your suprise to give, just like Maries offering of the blanket when she still holds to the fact that it was yours to give first... Though my Matriarch reminds me that it is the memories that are precious not the object themselves. Love being a gypsy some days

1st off if i sound like issac rambling and no sense involved then it is because i am on tylenol 3s and am doped up. hate pain killers, i hate the three inches removed feeling...asked me when i am not on painkillers to explain it.
Anyway was at my leadership camp this weekend with my kidsa and it was awesome. With one slight hitch. I was being so protective of my kids about going horsevack riding and wall climbing but it is the outdoor games that got me. or rather a 12 year old male footballed me playing red rover and broke three of mr metacarpals in my left hand.So owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Hello,
ok so if I dont get a hold of people tomorrow, Supper on Monday is set for 5:30-6:00... if you show up before 4:00 be prepared to duck as I might throw things! Last year was great as Danielle helped me make it and no stress other then me getting attacked by dishes and hitting me on the head. This year I have two ovens which means I can cook turkey in one and cook the sides in another! How's that for technology!

First for the Lethbridgeites I am going up to Calgary today for a wedding reception so I will not be at D n D. Aaron and Veronica, Dave and I missed you last night and we had no idea where the new house is, neither did Jill. I wont be at Serenity but have fun and dont spoil it for me.

Walked 10 klicks with my kids yesterday, which would be fine under normal circumstances but when you wrench your knee falling down the stairs on Wednesday not so cool.

So I go for an interview on Monday for a position with Palliser School Division, that night get phone call, and I start on Wednesday Sept 1st... really Sept 1 the thursday as I got all dolled up for nothing. EEpp I need teacher style clothes! So I get holidays and weekends off egad I can have a life. And I get paid through July and August! I am so happy....

Good Karma days, we got a rebate cheque for our mortgage I finally got my Income Tax back and my supervisor from hell has gotten some comeuppance... thank god...
